Ethological consultation
Do you have a behavioural problem with your horse?
Does your horse refuse to enter into transportation? Is your horse afraid to approach new objects and no longer wants to jump obstacles or refuses the exercises you ask him to do?
Our approach is to consult with you and analyse the situation, whereby we then implement protocols to be carried out with your horse in order to resolve the obstacles encountered.
About Ethology
Horse Behavioural Science
Equine Ethology should not be confused with “Ethological Riding”.
My chosen Career path was to study Equine Ethology at the University of Rennes. This equipped me with the scientific knowledge to understand both the behaviour and development of horses from birth to adulthood.
During my training I acquired the knowledge of how to develop the daily practice of sport riding with my horses.
I will gladly help you to solve any problems you may encounter with your horse by way of human/horse relations, management of social groups of horses in their environment, evolution of horse behaviour and management/structuring of the equestrian site, as these are my areas of expertise.
In addition, whether it’s a horse that doesn’t want to jump anymore, that doesn’t want to get into a trailer, that’s afraid of a particular situation; it is important to note that no problem is insurmountable.
Comprehensive support will be provided to help you re-establish the dialogue between you and your horse. A recommended programme would be implemented over a period of time to ensure a positive outcome is achieved.
I can also assist you in finding out if your horse has everything it needs to be in a state of well-being in its environment by way of validated scientific indicators and help you implement simple changes to improve its daily life, which will improve its athletic performance.
I am able to offer consultations at your horse’s place of residence as well as at my working stables for horses that require further training in order to restore the desired behaviour.
